Laker Hockey - Day CampsThe Laker Summer Hockey & Sports Camp is a great option for young goalies looking for a fun, well-rounded summer experience. Goalies receive goalie-specific instruction every morning session, ensuring they work on proper fundamentals, movement, and confidence in the crease, while still participating in scrimmages and multi-sport activities throughout the day. We oversee and manage the goaltending component within Laker Hockey programs, ensuring goalies are trained with the same care, structure, and development philosophy used across all of our goalie-specific offerings. This collaboration allows goalies to train in a consistent, supportive environment while also working alongside players, helping them transfer skills from focused instruction into realistic, game-like situations.

Our Tryout Preparation Skates are offered in two unique formats, each designed to help athletes prepare for evaluations in different ways. Please read the program descriptions below to determine which option is the best fit for your goaltender.
Our Goalie Tryout Prep Skates are designed to help goalies head into evaluations feeling confident, prepared, and game ready.
Each session focuses on quality repetitions, technical details, movement efficiency, and tracking while gradually increasing pace throughout the week. Whether you're returning to the ice after the summer or have been training consistently, these skates provide an opportunity to fine-tune your game before tryouts begin.
With dedicated goalie instruction and plenty of puck touches, goalies leave each skate feeling sharp, confident, and ready to compete.
