These programs are designed and run for goalie specific development. The full ice time is exclusively for goaltenders, featuring programs specifically designed and tailored to their needs, ensuring every drill and activity focuses entirely on enhancing their goaltending skills and performance.
In addition to more time spent on goalie specific development, other benefits of these programs include better instructor to goalie ratios, and a wider range of skills to focus on developing, however these programs do come at a higher cost.

Team Coaching

Byron offers winter and spring team goalie coaching to ensure your goalie stays sharp all year long! This allows your goalie the opportunity to improve on their specific abilities during the winter and spring seasons.
Often, coaches will run a “split practice” - meaning the forwards, defencemen and goalies are separated to focus on position-specific skills.
While the coaches are working on systems with the rest of the team, Byron will take the goalies and run them through goalie specific drills.

Send game video of your goalie for Byron to analyze and provide tangible feedback. With experience cutting and clipping video for goalies at the National Program with Hockey Canada, and Winnipeg Ice, Byron has a ton of experience helping goalies learn from their game actions.
Goalies are increasingly visual learners. Taking skills learned during goalie specific skates and translating them to game situations can be challenging. Going over game footage can help give goalies a full understanding of skills and how to translate them from practice, to games. Game video can be cut into any categories the goalies are looking for.

These programs are designed and run for goalie specific development. The full ice time is exclusively for goaltenders, featuring programs specifically designed and tailored to their needs, ensuring every drill and activity focuses entirely on enhancing their goaltending skills and performance.
In addition to more time spent on goalie specific development, other benefits of these programs include better instructor to goalie ratios, and a wider range of skills to focus on developing, however these programs do come at a higher cost.
U9/U11 Foundations of Goaltending Program
This program is designed to help newer goalies build a strong foundation of positional skills while also working individually with each goalie to refine existing techniques and introduce new ones to enhance their overall game.
